ldren’s Beginner SalsaWHEN: Tuesday Setpember 15th @ 6:30pmCOST: $95 (+GST) for 7 weeks per childAGE GROUP: 4-6INSTRUCTOR: Manuela Astudillo - At the age of 9 Manuela got involved in a Latin American Dance group, where she learned the artistic movements of Ecuador, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. With a passion to learn more about this art, at the age of 12 she joined a Hawaiian dance group that helped her develop a different sense of body movement. Manuela joined Dance To Live (DTL) two years ago, where she was given the opportunity to perform in Salsa St. Clair 2008 with Jose and Paula. That same year she competed with DTL's Steven Lopez at the Ontario Place Salsa competition where won 1st Place in the amateur division. Presently, she is teaching Ecuadorian folk dance for children of 3-8 years of age at the San Lorenzo Community Centre, and is also very excited to be teaching 4-6 year olds in Salsa at DTL starting in the Fall of 2009.
