Who Am I?:

My real name is Adam Damani and I'm 20 years old. I live in sweden and I love producing house music on my spare time - its my thing, my passion -

WHEN and WHY did I choose to become a music producer?

The answer to this is simple! It was my extreme,intense love to music that fascinated me into producing.

How is my relationship to music?

I remember when I was seven years old that I felt an intense pleasure, love and happiness going through my veins everytime I heard a house or club track on the radio. I also remember myself pushing my head against the speakers just so I could really feel the music penetrating my ears. No one understood my behaviour and I thought it was normal for everyone to feel the same to this music. Today I know that I was born to my music, my music is my destiny. This is something I have lately discovered and today I have finally found myself belonging to this music. The music play a big role in my meaning of life and it's a way to identify myself as the one I am.

My friends and people around me mostly know me as the kid with the earphones attached to his ears wherever he goes and whatever he does. People see me as someone who loves music very much and who always brings his music with him in all situations - In the gym, when I go out with my inlines in the summer,when im at the bus, when i walk the streets, EVERYWHERE i bring my music, my mp3 player. The music gives me energy, it gives me such a pleasure.. seriously I don't think that anyone in this world feels the same to my music as I do. The first thing i think about when I wake up is music.

I am also a collector of the Ministry Of Sound compilation cd's that comes out every year. Ministry Of Sound is my life, its my entire lifestyle.

What is the true beauty of making music and who am I as a producer?:

Identity: I don't make music just for the music. Mostly the producing for me is to express my personality & my lifestyle. I want people to look at my music not just as a good music; I also want people to be able to identify me in my carefully picked sounds. When people listen to that track I want them to hear, Oh ...this must be Adam Audio, "This is so HIM". Music is a language and I have my own language. That's the whole point with me making electronic music.

The creative process: The most fascinating with producing is the many oppurtunities that comes with today's music. There are no more limits of what you can do. Anyway, the most wonderful with producing for me is not just to make a good track, it is the way, the creative process, the travelling that gives me the most as a producer; the experimentation with finding new sounds and styles. This is my drug!

The feeling afterwards: After hours spent in the studio aware that I have created something good, this is something that makes me feel so good. This feeling is the greatest feeling I have ever experienced; a feeling beyond living.
