O-Cin..s first experience with the world of psychedelic trance began in 1998/1999. Back then he was introduced to the scene thru his former girlfriend who had grown up in a goa commune in southern germany. A beautiful farm in the middle of the woods with about 30-40 people living in a homestead like community with all ages of people that had dropped out and lived their life in a whole easier way. O-Cins first Goa parties where tiny spontaneous get together events with some backdrops just hung into the trees, a couple of hundred watts of sound system, some deejay and simply the stars and the sky. Facinated by the way the music and the people had created a underground-tribe. O-Cin had found a new way of experiencing, and he knew right then, that he would go down the rabbit whole, to find out how deep it goes.But the most importand thing is simply his growing interest in actually making and spreading the music and the tribe. To provide a powerful interactive plattform for new artists he has founded BasementRecords and has been working on the project since 2005.Fully digitally based, he has been doing mo rning psytrance and typical “bring back up†afterhour sounds as DeeJay O-Cin.
SYNGANIC
Synthetic and organic are the two elements of the name SYNGANIC and it should describe the connection of the apparently contradictory one. In 1989 SYNGANIC began to play as a DJ in some small clubs in southern Germany (Bavaria). In this time he was influenced of artist like Prince, Earth Wind and Fire, Commodores, Zapp, Sugar Hill Gang, the Rolling Stones and much more. After his first Psytrance experience (2001) in the famous Natraj Temple SYNGANIC was infected with the "Psyvirus" and it followed many events since then. In 2004 he organised with some friends his first Psytrance party. He worked as an organizer, as a artist and also as a DJ. His experience with the different music genres enriched not only his know-how, it lets him combine the Psytrance in a harmonious whole. He lays value not only to line up together tracks which sound good. He wants to take you on a musical trip. Over mountains and valleys, rivers and seas, in the sky and in the infinite space.
LINES
It all started 1986. At that time, it was the music.... Rock... Soul... Funk... House...and everything that made fun. Over the years I came more and more to the electronic area. Before 6 years, then I found my musical home in the final Psychedelic Trance. Everything else can you ask me when I meet her........
DEMENTED
He made his first contact with psytrance sometime in 2000. After five years he played at Magic Willage new year's eve party, organized by Solo Production crew. He started organizing parties together with Liquid Art. He founded, together with Flux, his own crew Sonic Boom which organizes a traditional season-opening party.
SCIENTIST
I was introduced to PsyTrance by a crazy guy I was working with (aka. O-Cin) during the year 2000. Even though I instantly loved the music, it took a great festival experience to really open my mind for the Psy experience... namely the ShivaMoon Festival 2002. After listening to the music for a long time I started mixing in 2005. That's also when Basement-Records was started as a small "just for fun"-project of O-Cin and me. Thanks to O-Cin's great organizational talents, Basement-Records has now become what it is today: A project that still is a lot of fun, and that at the same time has earned quite some respect by now!Due to my professional life, which is in Science ;) in case you were wondering about my DJ-name... I usually can't plan ahead long enough for regular bookings. So I'm mixing in private with the BR-crew whenever I can find the time.
Since I never know, for how long I'll be in Germany (during the past 5 years I lived in Germany , Japan and the US), I will be more of a background-member of BR, supporting the crew with ideas and the search for great tracks. And from time to time I'll try to provide the fans of BR with some good mixes...ENJOY!

The first time i had contact with goa and psytrance was at the legendary Natraj Temple in Munich. The music and especially the
people gave me great feelings and a new way of living. About 3years later i bought my equipment and tried some tunes. And now
many parties later I am really glad to be at this point.
