Currently performing with Carrie Hryniw , previously was and will occasionally play with the local rock band, Hardy Drew and the Nancy Boys . Played guitar since October 1966. I constantly wrestle with my inner musician - sounds cheesy but it's the truth. I am a very good guitarist, but often musically lazy. I've played with many artists, including my amazing, dear friend, Jessica Owen . Loyal to my friends and family. Quite possibly a quirkyalone . Like my cousin Ian , "I'm pessimistically optimistic and sometimes self-contradicting." I have very little faith in politicians and corporations. I am deeply cynical about many things, but maintain a rock solid faith in people in general. I believe most people to be inherently good and decent.
I can barely tolerate inconsiderate people. It continually astonishes me when I attend a movie to see how much garbage is left behind afterwards by those in attendance. I believe in giving compliments when deserved, such as when I receive great service in a restaurant, retail outlet, whatever. I will often seek out the manager to pass along a positive comment. I believe in karma, that how you treat others and how you treat the planet will have a direct effect on how you will be treated, and that what goes around, comes around.
