Sounds Like: MUSIC FOR 'MMA MOUNTAIN' BY TAKE THE WILLING....
Take the Willing is a hard-hitting metal/hardcore band hailing from Tauranga, New Zealand. Their heavy trademark sound has been welcomed by audiences throughout New Zealand during their nationwide tour with Blindspott, and more recently during the summer tour with Blindspott, The Bleeders and Full Nelson. Although cramming into a sweaty van with their best mates and a box of beer features in the band’s highlights; playing with Australian hardcore acts Parkway Drive and The Valley at Killerfest 07, along with opening for New York hardcore heavy weights, Hatebreed, definitely sparks up an excited response from everyone in the band. They may have only formed early 2006, but they are already making quite an impact up and down the country, and are rapidly collecting a number of very loyal and very enthusiastic fans.

Lead singer Nathan Sowter recently spent time in Sweden during April with internationally acclaimed producers, Pelle Henricsson and Eskil Lovstrom, on their debut album Fight Music. This producing dream-team have produced albums for artists such as Refused, Poison the Well, Cult of Luna and Blindspott - to metal fans they are basically metal royalty.
The album is out this winter on July 2nd through Angelo ‘Bleeders’ Munroe’s label Deadboy Records and Universal Music. First up is the single Eyes Closed an aggressive (but catchy!) tune about the fact that people need to open their eyes and take a stand. Eyes Closed is just the beginning, there are 11 more killer tunes that will have you tearing off your shirt and turning up your stereo.
