The Preacher,Teacher,Artist, Musician, Producer, Songwriter & Arranger.Pastor Taylor has worked with many of the top Gospel Artist of today. From the age of 14, he started singing on a professional level, with the influences of Gospel, R&B, Jazz and many other styles of music.He began to discover other musical abilities such as the keyboards, percussion instruments and the trumpet. While growing up in the church, he began to use his gifts to glorify God. That is when the great gospel legend, Pastor John P. Kee caught the interest of Charles. God used Pastor John Kee as a mentor and father figure in his life.Since then Pastor Charles has developed a strong passion to pursue a full time career in doing the work of the Lord. God has given him a mandate to spread the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, both as an expositor and psalmist. It is his desire to see God’s people changed.As co founder of former male gospel group turned ensemble P-N-W (Praise & Worship), Pastor Charles and P-N-W has traveled the coast of Florida and other states sharing the stage with many well known artist of Today. After maturing in God P-N-W decided to embrace individual advancements.Pastor Charles moved on to become the worship leader for Tim & Sherri Dyson, Senior Pastor’s of Suncoast Harvest Center. During his tenure as worship leader (1999-2004) Pastor Charles toured and recorded with Sherri D. Dyson and Progressive Praise. Pastor Charles and Pastor Sherri have collaborated and produced many songs, featuring the hit “We Brought Our Best Praise†Serving as worship leader, Pastor Charles had no idea God had greater plans. March of 2004 marked a new beginning for Pastor Charles as being a worship leader. World renowned Author, Pastor, & Bishop Mark Chironna heard of this young man’s musical talent, yet strong ability as a singer through international recording artist Martha Munizzi.Pastor Charles then became worship leader for Master’s Touch International Church, where Bishop Mark Chironna is Senior Pastor. 6 months in his position as worship leader, Bishop Chironna, then recognized a greater calling upon the life of Charles Taylor. Bishop then ordained and installed Charles Taylor as a Pastor.As founder of Church of Purpose, Inc., Pastor Charles has purposed in his heart to win the lost, strengthen the weak and encourage the strong. Graced with a tongue of the learned, he is said to be a man of influence both in the church and secular arenas.On this journey along with the many attributes, God has expanded the life of Pastor Charles with a lovely wife, Tawanda Taylor. They met through the ministry of John P. Kee. And have been happily married for 9 years and are the proud parents of 2 beautiful daughters, Tasia, 8 and Tamia, 6. He often describes them to be “Daddy’s inspiration & motivationâ€. To know Pastor Charles is to Know God and to hear Pastor Charles is to hear from Heaven.
