Basketball, reading, writing, listening to music, cooking (I'm a big-time grill man), nature, meeting new people, hanging out with friends, and having a good time. I'm also more than kind of a tech-head geek, which keeps me up to date on what's happening and what I need to learn next. Also, I'm also not a heavy drinker which is good for you since I'm the perpetual DD and fine with that since I'm the only one who remembers what happened the other night.
Someone who is spontaneous and knows how to have a good time but also has a good head on their shoulders. Someone with the ability to listen as well as talk. Someone who knows there is more to life than your bank account and what you do for a living and what kind of car/clothes/phone/whatever you own. You know, someone genuine and fun.Basically, you should own your possessions instead of your possessions owning you.
I like rock music. And not mindless screamo/headthrasher music. I mean stuff that has lyrics that are meaningful and actually have substance to them, instruments are skillfully played, and consistent excellence.I'm not too picky about music, but I do like a high quality of it. I guess that comes from me being in band class for three years in middle and high school. Who knows?
Anything with good dialogue in it: first Pirates of the Caribbean, V for Vendetta, stuff like that. I'm down for almost any movie as long as it isn't too sappy, and even then I'll make allowances. Just try me.P.S. The only movie I've had to walk out on was Maid In Manhattan. It was so terrible, and my threshold for pain is in the "legendary" column.
I don't really watch TV and never got into the reality TV trend that everyone goes nuts over. I'd rather be outside after having to stay inside all day long at work instead of watching TV, especially when I have to look at a screen all day long as a job.
Fahrenheit 451, Dracula, Lord of the Flies, 1984, Animal Farm, Brave New World, All Quiet on the Western Front, Heart of Darkness, and so many more.I'm a big-time reader, as long as it's interesting. Most books I read are the "classics" that they made you read in high school, but I do the occasional sci-fi and biographies too.
No one really. All the heroes are pretty much dead and forgotten since we live in a society where pretty much all natural predators have been eradicated. There's nothing for anyone to save us from, aside from ourselves.
