Independent Hairstylist & Makeup Artist
In her early twenties, Amber Council has already established herself as one of Los Angeles’ up-and-coming hairstylists. Working across multiple mediums – from TV, film, commercials and music, to high fashion and print, Amber has built a solid reputation amongst today’s hottest actors, artists, musicians and models.
She’s created styles for such celebrities as Marlon Brando, Nicholas Cage,
Elisha Cuthbert, Corinne Bailey Rae, Mya Rudolf, Paul Rubens, Faye Dunaway, Jane Symore and Brad Renfro, to name a few.
Recently, Amber was the key hairstylist on the Oxygen TV series "Campus Ladies" "Real Pretty Woman" for Showtime. She has worked on a number of music videos from
Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance and Robbie Williams to up and coming songbird Corinne Bailey Rae. She has also worked on such shows as “20/20â€, “Fear Factor,†“JAG†and “The Osbournes.†In addition to film and TV, Amber is also a leading stylist in the fashion world, working on such catalogues as “Seven Jeansâ€, “Miss Me Jeans†and many more. She was the key hair stylist for the Glaza and Sean La Paul Fashion Show & Fashion Shoots during Fashion Week in Los Angeles.
Amber's work with high fashion Stylist LEVON and Photographer Ash Gupta landed her layouts in Italian ELLE, Gloss and Flaunt magazines.
Amber has also worked with some of the worlds top hair product lines, such as Schwarzkopf, Toni & Guy’s Bed Head and Thermasilk to name a few.
In addition to her work as an independent hairstylist, Amber also collaborates with other stylists through such organizations as Moble Spa LA, which is a team of hair and make-up artists for special events –
from weddings to red carpet runways. She’s also a stylist Representative for Top Secret Hair Accessories in Beverly Hills.Amber graduated from the Vidal Sasson Academy and immediately following, attended makeup school and launched her career as a personal assistant to Brandon Waggoner.
