Kaz Mills: All in One Take ©
Kaz Mills, based in London, is making global waves across the internet community with her extraordinary voice. At 20, Kaz uploaded her music first video on to youtube.com – and was welcomed to the site with a flood of praise and appreciation from internet users across the world. Now, with over 2 million hits and more than 11,000 subscribers, the time has come for Kaz to meet the real world. Her exciting sets will consist of some or her unique and popular covers as well as highly anticipated original material.When asked why she chose youtube to expose her singing talent she replied with....
"Youtube is such a wonderful website to access people. By starting out on youtube you feel and are 'real'. People can see you're an ordinary person sitting in an ordinary room singing about something that really matters to you."
What Kaz didn't expect was the most amazing and kind replies she got back from her singing. Her startingly sincere rendition of the Justin Timberlake song she sung touched the hearts of all who saw it. When asked, why she chose this slightly obscure song, she replied with the most inspiring reply I've heard all day....
"It matters to me. Why sing a song if you can't mean every single word you say? Every lyric of 'Never Again' summarised my feelings at the time and it's beautifully written"
So is now seems the sky is the limit for Kaz....but she may go much farther ;). Talking about her possibly upcoming album she said....
"It's only in it's early stages. I've composed a few songs myself and am hoping to get some experienced songwriters on board to help....
"The main thing is for me to make it accessible and sincere. I'm so inspired by the singers of the past, for instance Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, and Bob Dylan. To me, you can hear them put all of their soul into their songs. I need to make sure my heart is in all of the music and lyrics in the album. Hopefully, that way it can't really go wrong."
