The name 'Shepherd's Bush' was inspired by the hometown of the darlings of rock music, The Who. Shepherd's Bush is located in London, and is the former hometown of the legends Peter Townshend, Roger Daltrey, and John Entwistle.
Like our name, our music, or rather, our future music (for we have yet to write or record anything) is intended to be heavily inspired by The Who's unique sound; a mixture of bluegrass and jazz, a rare combination for this generation, that creates the sound that can reach out to anyone.
With our lead guitarist, who's role model will forever be the well known "Nose on a Stick" (Townshend), our bassist, who will be forever infatuated with Entwistle's thunderous sound, the newly-founded Shepherd's Bush will soon be on its way to achieving "the dream".
