I am here for Friends

About Me

Hmm...where do I start? I'm into nature, theatre, art, music, and travelling to interesting places that offer wonderful historical background and natural beauty. I have a love for the arts enjoying singing, playing my flute (whenever I get off my lazy butt to practice - I'm not very good..sad to say..) acting (though I haven't done that in quite some time) hiking the woods and communing with nature, traveling to warm spots and historical sites. I would like to take some pottery, dancing and art courses. I'm a three-dimensional artist, meaning I enjoy quilting, knitting, needlepoint, and sewing, usually creating my own designs. I have three brothers who are the greatest! My older brother - THE DogHouseFunkBlaster - is a very talented bass-guitarist.
My causes: I support The London Humane Society, The Toronto Humane Society, The Metro Toronto Zoo, WWF (World Wildlife Fund) Lung and Cancer Association, local London, Ontario hospitals, Women's Community House (local women's shelter)

If you take a peek at my blogs, you will see the story of my survival of a violent crime. All this info is also listed on my website. Please take a look. Both this and the site listed below provides advice for women on how to protect themselves and/or what to do during a crisis situation. I hope I can provide hope and perhaps save a life. Please forward these sites to anyone that you feel may benefit! Thank you!
