About Me

After playing music in various bands, Sarah started performing and writing her own material which she busked and gigged across Europe in the late 1990's. She wrote more songs in the Far East and came back to her native Leeds to record them in 2000.Since then she has gone on to perform at lots of fests up and down the country and produces, mixes and masters her own recordings. Sarah has found this truly liberating as an artist to achieve full control of the sound of her material, which she describes as, 'non-mainstream and original.'These days Sarah is based in Liverpool and gigs with percussionist, Paul Bratt who plays tablas and congas and adds style and intricacy to the music, along with good humour and dynamic arrangements. The pair of them also make sculptures (Sarah casts iron and Paul makes marionettes) and films, but that's a whole other story...
