Growing up in the forests of Wimberley has provided Lady Pterodactyl, made up of Faith Chonko and Sydnie Ross, with a unique outlook on music. Together this talented pair of musicians works from their bedrooms to create a unique style of electronic music that shakes their spirits. These two ladies joined forces in February 2007 but have been friends for many years allowing them to collaborate easily and have a great time along the way. They both draw a great deal of inspiration from musical groups such as Daft Punk, MSTRKRFT, Metric, The Faint, and local artists like Ghostland Observatory. Other influences include the infamous trio of Salt ‘N’ Pepa, Le Tigre, and Garbage. The beats that are eventually produced from this mix of muses are both danceable and distinct, setting them apart from the mainstream electronic scene.
