Nestor (Lukasz Stawinski) - born on 28th August 1985. Producer, composer, keen on arranging and mastering. The musical adventure began in 1999 - in the beginning it was just for fun and with an experimental attitude. It quickly changed into a passion, hobby and love for all aspects of music. The first software he used (trackers, samplers, sound editors) taught him the basics and showed him the secrets of the art of composing. Work and pleasure have been combined for years, leading to his present attitude of producing music and this has had a significant influence on the progression in the area of modern music. The next generation of music software opened up new possibilities of using his knowledge and creativity in making music.
His first tunes appeared in 1999, but the real breakthrough in his career happened in 2004. The track called "The Trance Experience" was released on the Polish V.A. album "17 Klubowych Kameleon vol.3â€. It grabbed the attention of DJs and producers nationwide, and it also appeared in the HOT TOP list at one of Lodz's radios (Radio Parada),where he competed for the highest accolade with such established artists like: Danzel, Sylver, Groove Coverage and ATB. Three weeks on the list, and reaching third place, proved that the public liked the track and voted for it keenly.
In 2005, he produced a follow-up album produced. Called "I will love ya" and have been promoted by the single with the same title, which was supposed to be relased on the V.A. "Time4Base vol.2". Unfortuntely the compilation was never realased due to record label difficulties, but the track found a home on the DJ Mirek's "Program TV's" list.
2006 led to many new contacts and in that year hip-hop project ("76 Studio Mroz") was formed, where you can hear Nestor's music, but that was not all. From January to December 2006 he was working on the album (called "Confessions") of a famous vocalist from Lodz - K-tee. The album has a sad, dark and downtempo style but has also elements of atmospheric piano music. These two projects show that there is no limits to Nestor's music imagination.
The music has many different faces and there's never any point in keeping strictly to just one style. You have to always try somthing new, collect new experiences and experiment with the sound - this gives you surprisingly positive results.
In 2007 new ideas came true. Katie (www.kasiastepniowska.strefa.pl) gave a vocal for three productions and made it stronger and more powerful than ever. You can hear this great voice in "Unreason", "Another Day" and not realised yet "Fantasy".
In 2008 Nestor met Jazzta (www.myspace.com/jazztaband) and her black, tough voice. First track called "Butterfly" you can hear at Dee Jay PARTY vol.34 and also here at the player.
