Triskalia took a daring step with Myth, Magick & Mysteries in order to give the audience an honest listen to who they are. The album was recorded as a live jam session as opposed to separate tracks. This is how they sound live. This was an engineering feat to achieve and involved some fourteen microphones plus several direct lines to the board. It should also be noted that most of the songs on the album were done in one and two takes. When you hear Myth, Magick & Mysteries you are hearing Triskalia. The songs on this CD are based around the themes of Myth, Magick and Mysteries and how they interact with our lives in a modern context.
Up to this point Triskalia has been completely self produced, self managed and has handled all their own booking. Triskalia has gained wide popularity and received rave reviews. Triskalia has had the good fortune of performing numerous shows including seven nights during the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Three years at the Montreal International Folk Festival. Their music has been played on radio and been used as theme music for a radio show. They have performed at the Montreal Olympic Stadium for the Salon Des Science Occult and many other venues. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. The Hours
Waiting for the ours, waiting for our hour. A thousand lifetimes I'm with you again.
I love you now as I loved you then, come with me my lover and friend. I promised you that I'd stay till the end.
Your in my dreams, your in my visions. Your are the reason for living, everything I do, I do it for you.
Catherine your the one for me, it's so perfectly plain to see. Our souls were connected in lifetimes beyond.
I dream about you night after night and I have all of my life, memories of lives long ago.
Born again into this world, to find each other once again. I'll fight for you and die till the end.
Two spirits from the dawn of time, eons have come and gone. Love undying, to be apart is alone.
Catherine it's me, can you still see? Forever together across space and time. I found you again lover of mine.
