The Kickers

About Me

Rock'n'Roll have seen many heroes. Many have died, less than a handfull live today. Lemmy, Dee Dee, Iggy, Jello, Hendrix, Cobain and Vicious, just to name a few.
Rock'n'Roll had been divided into so many sub-genres, nothing seemed to be cutting edge. Around the millenium, fate spawned new hope for Rock'n'Roll in the Northern part of the rainy Netherlands,.
Joris Witvliet, Steven Stonekick, & Eli Padmos began to make names for themselves in the musical scene of Groningen. It soon became obvious they were more than ordinary boys with more than just a musical interest. Each was a musical prodigy in his own right.
Three multi-talented teenagers having one vision with destination over the top. Aware of one another, and the talents each possessed, the three decided to join forces and kick some real rock'n'roll ass. In 2004, "THE KICKERS" era had begun.
P.S. A lotta fans have destroyed their record collection after hearing The Kickers for the first time. Their old records had become out of date and overdone, declared some of the fans. Others were still too angry and confused to speak.
Kickers bass-player Joris Witvliet thinks this is an "unnecessary waste" and you should better send them to:
