About Me

I am a 46 yr old custodial father of a beautiful 11 yr old boy. I dropped out of OSU in Marion earlier this year but still have hope of getting my Bachelor's Degree. I have earned a Junior College Degree from Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. While attending OSU earned my Associate's Degree in Spring 2007. I did my Federal Work Study at Ohio Heartland Community Action Center from March of 2007 till May of 2008. I established "Helping Hand of Bucyrus" in 2007 and it was my desire to assist people in achieving self sufficiency, or maintaining it, not just for public assistance but to provide a better way of life for individuals. Having been a part of the public assistance program, am fully aware of the hardships one can face in dealing with their caseworkers. The services of HHB was not limited to public assistance recipients but also to non-custodial parents who are having difficulty with their local agency. I live in Galion now but still have many people who contact me for assistance and truely enjoy it completely. I home schooled my son last year and he excelled greatly and looking forward to putting him in a private school this fall, well let's say I hope to do so.

Being a single parent would love to chat with people of all walks of life. That includes people just being friends to finding that special person who might be the one. I am very easy going, but anyone will admit my son is my life and he comes first in my life.

Wanna a free refridgerator or freezer?

OhioHeartland Community Action Center has a program designed to lower particpants electric bill and in so doing they may very well qualify for a free refridgerator or freezer....

Persistence is a must.....

Upon filing an application for clothing assistance under the PRC Plan with CCJFS was denied because the classes were online. Realize Crawford County was paying Jobs Plus Participation each month...

As of 10/1/07 CCJFS posted a addendum to their PRC plan to include Non-Custodial parents. Actually in all retropect they had for years posted a PRC Plan to include some benefits for non-custodia...
