It all began in summer of 99' when FBG guitar- player Fabian Kliemannel decided to start off a hardcore project as a drummer with his girlfriend Kathrin Dietze on guitar and Isabelle Sporbert on bass guitar. An additional guitar player soon was needed, so Fabse taught some guitar basics to his childhood pal and namesake Fabian Holzhause.
Anyway, the project was damned to fail, the band split off just a few months later without playing one single show.
It took more than 6 years until Fab& Fab played their first live- show together. Being bored by playing Hardcore music on drums and on guitar as well for about 4 years, Fabse wanted to try something new.
After a 4 days& nights taking jam session with the other Fabian in July 2005 and the decision that Fabian H. would become "Albert" to avoid mistake in names they recruited Anthony Nebe on bass guiar and Tim Wedler on drums and opened the famous "rocking village" festival in December 2005.
After that fulminated premiere they played about 20 other shows in the first year of their existence as "Fat Bottomed Girls"
Discussions about the "strange name" soon appeared...
"It is a great name I think," Albert says " It sounds a lot like old and dirty fucking vulgar Rock And Roll, and that's exactly what we want to do."
In April 2006 they recorded a promo - CD containing 4 tracks.
At the moment the band is once again preparing for some recording sessions by rehearsing the latest new stuff for their first album which will probably (and hopefully...) be released in autumn 2007...
