Biography: Addressing Adeline started out in April 2004 as Justin Sardinha (drums) and Dex Grafton (guitar) jammin in Justins garage. Only then they were known as Hoi Polloi, which happened to be a Christian band in New Zealand. I know, we were left bewildered also. The duo soon turned into a trio when a long-lost friend, Max Green (vocals, guitar) joined and adopted the name Maxwell Romantic. They instantly clicked and started whippin out songs like nobodys business! Not too long after that they went in to record a little three song demo consisting of Girl Without A Pulse, Umbrella Man, and the lesser known Bloodshot Eyes. The band passed the demos out to their friends and people who were just curious. Soon the opportunity came to have a show at The Mullet(the Mullet has only had one show in its entire existance, and probably won't have any more) and they took it! Being their first show, they learned a lot. The show helped them realize that something was missing in the trio they needed a bassist. Along came Nick Pupo. As soon as Nick came they knew their gap was filled. He was great as a friend and played the bass like an animal. (What more could you ask for?) Unfortunately, soon after Nick joined, Dex left due to different interests in music and life. The newly formed band developed even more songs and they have been categorized as: "A fuse of modern and underground indie with 60's hooks and undertones." With a lot of unsettled emotions on the void Dex left, they decided it best for a name change and settled on Addressing Adeline. Then suddenly they were overwhelmed with show opportunities and seized every last one of them! The band soon gained hope and have continued writing songs and playing shows. They regularly play venues such as Austin's Coffee & Film, Ozone Cd's, Starbucks, house shows, and other miscelaneous shows in Winter Park and Altamonte Springs. They were also filmed and are set to be shown on TV as part of the local music project Band Patrol and were involved in the Garage Band Festival recently at the Orlando Science Center. After winning the 2006 Battle of the Bands competition for Orange and Seminole Counties, they have thrown together what they like to think of as a small summer tour. One of the dates is at The Tampa Bay Devil Ray's Stadium, where they will perform pre and post game.
