We live a world far from perfection
filled with people who are hurt and broken
who struggle to meet emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.
Who are suppressed with pain and despair
We fear of failure and rejection
feelings of inadequacy, guilt and shame.
We wear facades and develop elaborate
defence mechanisms to hide our pain.
We suppress emotion and become compulsive perfectionists
We drive ourselves harder to succeed
or withdraw and become passive.
Our perception of reality will profoundly
impact our every thought.
With no real reason, purpose, hope or value
This has eroded the moral fabric of our society
upon values that gave a basis of
which guides our lives throught absolutes.
This has left us with no sense
of definition or direction.
Events occur for a reason without warning
it is only after that the reasons become clear
