Born in Jersey and raised in Brooklyn, New York till the age of 5 EDDIE CAINE was already starting his tour as a young man. When he was 6 years old he moved to Lawrence, MA the same year he was abandon by his father. Now growing up in the 80..s where crack infested the hoods of America EDDIE CAINES mother was no exception to the epidemic. Especially when his grandfather the only father figure, was known to be one of the major suppliers in Lawrence at the time. It was exceptionally hard to escape. EDDIE CAINE can reflect on times when the Pontiac Thunderbird came out and his mom an uncle both had a matching set till months later when the drug took over his family and their lives. It got to the point where they had no food in the refrigerator. As a young man he was forced to care for his three younger siblings. Having a mother that cared about nothing but her next high, EDDIE CAINE was able to roam the streets at age 7. It was unfortunate to grow up in an environment such as this. All this was up to the age of 13, EDDIE CAINE was being expelled from literally every school he attended. Forced to move from family to family EDDIE CAINE must have attended more than twenty schools in seven cities and four states. By high school he moved to Philadelphia, PA while his mother was in a drug rehab program trying to get cleaned. After two years of living in Philly he moved back to Lawrence, MA and that..s when all his run ins with the law started occurring. Up to the age of 18 EDDIE CAINE must have spent at least 2 ½ years total in juvenile corrections. To escape the streets CAINE was forced to move with his uncle in the west coast. At age 15 that..s where he first picked up a mic and actually started recording. After being in the west coast for a year and a half, it was only a matter of time before the streets caught up to him once again. He got arrested in his high school and did one week out there in jail and Massachusetts officials were called to pick him up since he was committed to DYS. He didn..t follow through with the rules so he was forced to move back to MASS, shacked and put in jail as soon as he made it back. After being released EDDIE CAINE went back to what he knows best, the streets. Making that fast money out of town was great till you look around and seven out of the eight members of your team is locked up doing four to nine years and you..re the only one left. Then you get hit with another tragedy and your best friend is doing ten to fifteen year bid for murder its definitely a time for a change. Not being blessed with a wicked jump shot EDDIE CAINE went the music route and decided to take his rap talent serious. After ruining chances with producers because he chose the streets, he had no choice but to teach himself how to create beats and mix his own music. He got with his best friends brother and another childhood friend and formed Unsigned Entertainment. He then dropped a ten song EP called R.E.A.L. vol. 1 in 1998 which he produced nine tracks out of ten. Then 2001 he came out with Franchise Mixtape, which sold over five thousand copies locally. In 2003 they changed the name from Unsigned Entertainment to TRU CASH RECORDS. He then dropped another mixtape hosted by DJ Absolut which went to successfully sell over ten thousand copies. After the exposure and success from the mixtapes, EDDIE CAINE met with UPNORTH ENTERTAINMENT CEO CASSINO who started movement in Atlanta, GA and because of unfortunate court cases he had to move back to MASS. EDDIE CAINE and CASSINO then came together and turned TRU CASH into the number one independent label out of MASS.
