Alexa Jade is a 21 year old Chicago based up and coming singer.
Growing up in the out skirts of the city, Alexa has been singing ever since she can remember.
She began taking piano lessons at the age of 11 and the lessons went on for 6 years.As a teenager Alexa was inducted into the International Thespian Society for participating in all aspects of theater for all 4 years in high school.
In addition to theater she was in the high school choir all 4 years as well.Alexa started her first band, at the age of 14 writing most of their original songs.
She went on to perform around the Chicagoland area including The Tweeter Center for D.A.R..E Fest and the Beat Kitchen.As a musical fan she was always watching American Idol and was lucky enough to meet one of the first seasons finalist on the Oprah Winfrey show. Alexa then 16 years old, was invited to talk about teen culture only to find out Oprah was having a surprise show for her to meet American Idol finalists. This only fueled Alexa's desire to become a singer.
Alexa Jade is now working on her solo project and is currently in the studio all
while attending Columbia College in Chicago majoring in music business.
