YuNG CiTY ENTERTAINMENT...

Been in the early planning stages since late 2004, and has been recently established in 2007 as one of the hottest young up and comming independent record companies on the northwest underground hip hop scene. YuNG CiTY Entertainment was founded in Fairbanks, Alaska in the winter of 2007 on February 11th by LiL MiK3 who is now the CEO and President of the company to date. After meeting YuNG FoLk in late 2003 it wasn't hard to tell they both had the talent and drive to make it happen, so they later started writing songs together with a few other artists and recorded with a local DJ. Over the years as the others faded away the two stayed close. So when YuNG CiTY Entertainment was created and made official, it wasn't hard at all to decide on the "NUMBER 1 DRAFT PICK" for the newborn YCE franchise. From that day forth its been full steam ahead doin mixtapse, shows, anything to get some exposure. There music can be found all over the internet on websites such as Soundclick .com, isound.com, imeem.com and of coarse Myspace! With a lyrical, street authentic style that was unheard of comming from the 49th state, it has surprised and opened alot of eyes in the hip hop industry around the world. Betting on the large amounts of positive feedback and the overwhelming regional success of small independent projects, there is alot expected from this new talent comming from a small city in the middle of Alaska.
