IT'S OFFICIAL:
ADDICTED? FINALLY BROKE UP ON THE 2nd OF MAY, 2007.
Our decision to stop making music together was due to creative and personal differences amongst us all.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped us during those years, and most of all we would like to thank all the people who supported our band by coming out to our shows.
For all the ones who still don't know who we were:
In 1998 Addicted? was found as a hobby/garage band but with all the members own initiative and drive the band managed to become a serious, professional, powerful and charismatic combo.
The band was able to work hard for a fixed spot inside the regional music scene.
In February 2005, Addicted? won the local band contest 'Day of the Locals', which is a annual contest where the audience votes for the winner.
Furthermore several songs from the EP 'The Change Within' were published on the sampler Noisy Neighbours of the label and some songs were chosen to be the soundtrack for the short movie 'Schmalspurhelden' directed by Dittmar Schulz.
Also some songs of that EP got an airplay at the radio stations '1Live' and 'Radio Köln'.
The band took part in another contest in 2005: The Global Battle of the Bands, an international band contest, in which a respected jury votes.
Addicted? succeeded and made the third place in the german finals.
In december 2005 Addicted? had their first international gig in Ljubiljana, Slovenia with the Los Angeles based band 'Collision'.
The year 2006 started very promising for the band with a support gig for
'Die Happy' -a very well-known and respected german rock band.
Addicted? was lately in prepearation for recording and producing an entire album...
...it was not to be...
