Singer and Baltimore Native Ashley was born June 22, 1988 the third child of six siblings. From the day she was introduced to this world, music was her destiny.
As a child she admired her Dad's gopsel group Reformation and enjoyed playing classical music on the piano that her Mom encouraged her to do. Since almost everybody in her family is musically incline, her younger brother a drummer and her older brother a R & B singer, she tried to avoid the bite of the music bug. On the other hand, that was pretty hard when people realized the talent she possessed. During high school, she was a part of the gospel choir and basketball team. She performed every year at Carver Center for Arts and Technology talent/fashion shows. Though she never won any of the competitions, she always felt proud of her experiences. In her 11th year for Black History Month Assembly, she impersonated Tina Turner and performed "Proud Mary." Ashley says, "High school reopened me and I was no longer able to avoid it...Music is going to be a part of my life forever."
Today you can find this very true. Her most recent performance was openeing up along with a friend in ATL for artists such as Ludacris and Young Joc (She does want to admit she was nervous). However, her passion for music is still growing. She hopes to land a record deal(no specific one) and win the hearts of many. Until then, she continues to write music and create songs. Ashley says, "I want to relate to people through my music. I want to have a hot beat and meaningful words."
