Public Liability - Looking For 2nd Guitarist

About Me

Formed in mid 2006, when Dan and Alex decided that it was time to get serious and find a drummer. Later that day Alex called Adam, who had posted a 'Drummer Seeking Band' flyer in Record City, Frankston. Adam had been in various punk bands in Queensland and Victoria, including Sunshine Coast's 'No Innocence'.
After jamming a few times together at the local scout hall in the depths of Frankston the name was chosen. Public Liability; as in the insurance Adam had to pay as part of running his tiling business.
Fast Forward to 2009, Public Liability have come along way in developing their sound to the unique blend of Melodic Punk Rock and 80s inspired Thrash, sometimes even resembling the 80s Hardcore sound.
Clasping supports with Lagwagon in 2008 and The Spermbirds & Mid Youth Crisis in 2009 hasn't hurt the band, but it is their dedication in staying true to their roots that has gained respect among peers.
Following a well attended Brisbane headline show in September, the focus shifted to recording and producing some new material.
Public Liability's debut EP, Global Warning, is available at independant record stores throughout Victoria, over the bar at The Arthouse or by contacting the band.
Last January, Victoria was hit by firestorms like we've never seen before, and many families were left homeless and hopeless. We immediately wanted to do our part to help out those less fortunate. So we put our own money into buying 100 t-shirts. And We're selling them with 100% of profits going the the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
