Larry G (Lawrence Goriel February 21, 1984) is the owner of the Larry G Records company, a lyricist, a songwriter, a producer, a sound engineer, a graphic designer, a web site designer, a skilled marksman, a philosopher, a political figure, a high school graduate, a man who never backs down, a man of conviction, a leader, a champion and an all-around go-getter.
Larry G has played a key role in the development of the local artists in the Detroit area as well as supported and collaborated with others from various locations across the United States. Since 2001, Larry G has been writing lyrics and tinkering with production tools. Although never viewed as a "serious" artist, L.G. is still making music and working on an entirely new album.
On Tha Streetz has been through a rocky ride. Larry G has decided to scrap the album and start again from scratch. "Something always went wrong with this album and maybe I'll have better luck with a new album, new songs, a fresh new style and a clean slate from all the haters, snitches and fake motherfuckers that penetrated my crew." The album, which has been in the works since April of 2008, is almost finished and includes 12 never-before-heard tracks. No release date has been published.
