God is so good. All I've ever wanted to do all my life is sing. Now, all I want to do is sing for God. Jeremiah 29:11 speaks so fervently of God's desire to bless us when we do His will. The scripture reads, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." That is just what has happened. God has been so faithful to me when I have not been to him. I have just been blessed with the unexpected honor of winning the 2008 Music City Gospel Showcase Female Vocalist of the Year. It was so unexpected, I was in my dressiest flip flops to accept the award. Not only that, I had the pleasure of meeting The Blackwoods. Ron Blackwood has invited me to do a couple of shows with them. What a dream come true. I didn't get the chance to meet Ms. Dottie Rambo. God took her before I could. But, oh my, The Blackwoods. What an honor. Let me tell you something, for the younger generation out there that doesn't know much about the history of Southern Gospel, you need to start studying up. Find out who the pioneers are. Ask your parents to show you what a hymn looks like. A lot of churches are not using them anymore. Ask them to teach you the songs we grew up on. Oh what a loss to not know them. To Don Frost and family, I thank you so much and I know that God has configured the road that has led us to each other. Don is a man with a heart to help new artists. Ones that have a song to sing but, can't break into the industry. That is Don's ministry and God is blessing because of it. I am available for bookings. Contact me at
