About Me

Paste the following code to your profile in order for your support to become the driving force of this band.
It all began when brothers Daniel and Sergio Dominguez began jamming along side with Daniel Gomez with what was supposed to be a short term percussion show. Daniel Gomez and Sergio Dominguez played drums while Daniel Dominguez would occasionally complement the songs with guitar leads and sporadic feedback. Almost immediately after feeling comfortable with a few rehearsals and the first performance in the garage of the Dominguez bros the idea to make a band emerged. Soon new rehearsals started for a project that became known as “Arcadia Live”. The project consisted of doing live shows as an 80’s music cover band in both cities of Cd. Juarez in Mexico and El Paso TX. The “Arcadia Live” project however ended in the summer of 2006 after some quarrels over the future of the project and several line-up changes mostly consisting of bassists coming in and out of the band. At this stage of the game the Dominguez Gomez partnership decided to take things to another level. Once the group noticed that experience had brought with it an open road of possibilities the concept of creating original material became a feasible alternative. The performances, the jams, and the overall chemistry that took shape for nearly 4 years of playing suddenly developed a mind of its own and thus “Jadis & Spade” was conceived at the end of 2006. The band having suffered by the aftermath of the constant entrance and exiting of bass players finally took a step forward with the entrance of Guillermo Vargas as another bass player. The once lead singer of The Gold Strikes brought many new ideas and helped the band take the step forward that was for so long delayed. The addition of the new band member brought even more influences that now complemented the new outfit, an atmospheric rock band mirroring the eclectic taste of its creators. This time the band will now set out to make a serious statement in the world of rock with an emphasis on solid song writing, ambitious material and themes inspired by science fiction literature and everyday marvels.
