review of "forever" on bostonbandcrush.com:"Zombifying Venom - “Foreverâ€It is nice of this band to finally let the rest of the world in on the secret ingredient of zombies everywhere. That's the last time that nice will be used in conjunction with this band or this song. “Forever†is a violently ravaging track that sounds like it takes place somewhere in the not-too-distant future, before the world is taken over by zombies and/or super-intelligent robots; but in the initial moments of explosions and other destructifying activities that will lead to such a world. This song is like an overture to all-out war. The drums sound as if machine gun salvos, and the vocals emanate from somewhere guttural and primal, either the sound of killing or being killed. Judging by the power eminent in this song, we'll assume the former. The glowering guitars fit in with the violent savagery of the song but display some tone here and there, preserving what is left of society and its reliance on order, notes and arpeggios; because what is society without arpeggios? The section from 2:30-ish to 2:50-ish almost tells a story through the guitars alone; one circles endlessly through its statement as uncountable others smolder below it. It's obvious that this song is a story; it has a clear-cut end in the form of a huge explosion, the likes of which one usually will not survive long enough to hear the end of. Will the zombies survive? It sounds like Zombifying Venom has already lived through it, and is here to tell us the tale."
