ZZ Allin

About Me

Out of all the band ensembles in music history few ever made a more inconsequential impression on rock music than ZZ Allin, although it was not for a lack of trying. In their tragically short career, which lasted only nine days, ZZ Allin played over 7,000 shows in almost as many states. Believed to have been the unholy spawn of a secret union between Satan and a frost giant, the group's guitarist, Oliver Priddy once defined ZZ Allin's sound as what happens when you get a group of musicians together who record several songs and then put them onto a CD format for consumer America to buy. This description became synonomous with the band's mediocre sound and overall unpleasant appearance.
