We at Square Notes have created a way where we can all poop music into eachothers computers every month.
You have been chosen as a group of twenty tasteful connoisseurs of new music. Every month we invite you to post one new album of your likings and in turn you will have access to any and all of the 19 other albums posted by the rest of the square notes members. This is not to be taken lightly. Remember you are chosen. In order to remain a member of Square Notes you must uphold the following basic duties:
1. On the first of every month the site will be cleared of all old albums from the previous month.
2. During the first week of the month you upload your chosen album that you would like to share.
3. You have all month to sample, download, and discover new music that the other Square Notes members have chosen to share with you.
4. KEY: any music that is posted must be 'unprotected' i.e. you cant download something off itunes and try to post it on the site-it will let you post it, but no one else can listen to it since itunes protects their purchased music with a password. you have to upload 'burnt' or 'ripped' music that has no digital rights attached to it. so...if you buy something on itunes and want to upload it you betta be a computer nerd and know how to take off the digital rights mgt attached to it-which i dont know how to do. basically i'll just upload stuff from cd's I've bought, borrowed, burnt, mp3 file transfers, or limewire and the whatnot.
5. Also all music uploaded and mp3 tags are reccomended
6. Each month we will reissue a new password that will be delievered to your email. In order to recieve the new password you must have submitted an ablum the previous month. Other wise -we kick you out asshole.
