6VOLT9 was founded in late summer 2004 by Eva, who at that time was playing guitar for instrumental Postrock act DRIVE UNTIL HE SLEEPS (R.I.P.), and Claude, guitarist of ORANGE SQUAD. Later on they were joined by Serge (TVESLA, QUENTIN LAGONZA) on bass.
Their music could be described as introspective, minimalistic Lo-Fi-Dream-Pop, often built around repetitive themes, with subtle layers of Electronica, allowing the listener to be fully absorbed by the quiet intimistic soundscapes.
