Boris Ehlers

Born and raised in Germany Boris began playing drums in kindergarten at the age of 4. He was trained in classical as well as popular drumming and started his professionel career at the age of 19, when he was performing with several function- and cover- bands. Boris studied drums, percussion and music education at the Music Conservatory in Osnabrück and the College of Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg/Germany. He also completed a Certificate Course at Berklee College of Music.

Being both a session and theatre drummer his performances have carried him throughout Europe and the U.K. He is currently playing the Drums for Queen..s We will rock you in Cologne. Also he records or performs with with the singer Brigitte Oelke and Rock Classic Tribute Band WE ROCK.

His early influences, bands and recordings were in the rock and pop genre but he has since expanded his performance and session credits to include R&B,funk,latin,jazz and more.

Boris is a tutor at the Drummer..s Institute Dusseldorf and runs his own private teaching practise and appears as a clinican.

If not busy playing drums Boris is working as an Composer, Studio Musician and Musical Director.

Boris is endorsed by Paiste, Pork Pie Drums and Agner Drumsticks.
