Bernadette Colomine - Bio
besides my wonderful bandmate, the amazing Sam Collin who can play every instrument you can name, i have very talented friends who are kind enough to play my songs, notably Johnette Napolitano who's a long time friend who had signed my ex-band "Apache Dancers" on her label "Happy Hermit" back when.
i was also singing and songwriting with partner Terry Durbin in the band "Shoofly" (formerly "Apache Dancers").
the 5 songs you can hear were recorded over 2 sessions and are part of Tour De France 9-song newly released album "L'Aventure".

"Qu'est-ce tu fais (dans la vie)" and "Je Collectionne les J" feature my friends Johnette Napolitano (guitars, back-up vocals, percussions, hand clapping, production), David Kendrick (drums, percussions, hand clapping, triangle) and Dvin Kirakosian (bass, hand clapping, back-up vocals).
"Soleil dans l'ombre", "Ce Soir", "Faussaire" are from the 2nd session with Sam Collin who took over guitars, back-up vocals, percussions, hand clapping, production, along with David Kendrick and Dvin Kirakosian.
they were recorded at Charlie McGovern's studio in NoHo.
all songs were mastered by Hans DeKline.
"qu'est-ce tu fais" has been played by Jason Eldredge on KCRW.
Johnette and I also recorded a cover of Love's "Signed DC" that's also been played on KCRW and on the "Hunnypot show".
i did spoken words on Concrete Blonde's "Les coeurs jumeaux" and back-up vocals on Rufus Wainwright's "the greek song".
and i'm currently writing the libretto of an opera in French with my incredibly talented friend Rufus W for the NY Met.
