BIOGRAPHY
SILENT IMPULSE aka Adrian Raniolo - born in Adelaide, Australia has been influenced and involved in music for the greater part of his life. Being involved with a number of both school and independent bands during his youth, music was never a distant thought. Trained in classical guitar, Adrian quickly developed and mastered skills that were suited to all forms of music, although his primary influences were classical and heavy metal (massive contrast i know!). Greater exposure enabled Adrian to extend his musical ability further as his skills with a large number of other instruments developed. Training through the University of South Australia additionally extended Adrian's ability in a theoretical sense, learning from a number of highly respected musicians. The technical age began to develop and shine upon the underground society of contemporary music that suddenly began to emerge from all corners of the globe, it seems that new music has began to develop and genres such as drum and bass is the greater representation of this.
The sounds of SILENT IMPULSE may be positioned somewhere in the middle of these two completely different, yet significant time periods and styles; a mergence of modern sounds and creativity coinciding with the older practices and methods of music - remember, we must salute those whom we are replacing as they have paved the paths on which we tread with such confidence. Music is a passion and must only be created upon the verge of eruption, any later and it may become corrupt with the dirty infection of other superficial emoptions and feelings. To SILENT IMPULSE it's all about the passion for the music - and if you're not feeling it, thats cool - your just obviously not listening the way it was intended - stubborn cunts! hahaha
