New York is my home now, but many years ago I lived in France and was trained as a classical musician in many instruments. Piano and violin are my strengths, but I only play music for myself now and for the simple pleasure of playing. I like the arts in general and I am very spiritual by nature. I like animals, especially birds of prey, all exotic birds, cats of all sizes. I was once very skilled at fencing and had an interest in swords and other historical weaponry and the fighting arts. I have learned alot about certain periods of history and am fascinated with the way people have lived throughout the ages. Part of the reason I set up this page is for my dear friend Robyn, who is a very talented artist. She has done many works that depict fantasy imagery but to me her work has a personal importance because years ago she did many paintings of me when I looked more like I did in my youngest photo here- the old blurry one taken many years ago on a visit to Versailles. She says I was her "muse" even though I enjoyed spending alot of time with her watching her paint. If you have ever had the rare opportunity to watch an artist work while she is in the midst of creating, it is an experience that will stay in your memory forever.
