About Me

artist bio: Jennifer E. Humphrey is a mixed media artist whose work hinges on the themes of self-awareness, religious hypocrisy, and oftentimes, crude humor. Though she spent two years in the art department at Middle Tennessee State University, she is largely self-taught.The emphasis of her work is on theme and message. To execute this message she uses color and space to evoke emotion, easily recognized societal symbols to convey deeper meanings, and she keeps her work small in hopes of creating intimacy between the piece and the audience.
She is an Alabama native who currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her partner and three furry children.
