Lost Serenity recorded a demo in 1997 with former vocalist Sander van den Thillart and a full-length album called "Upgrade" in 1999/2000 with singer Jerry Kepers. The band broke up soon after "Upgrade".
The "Upgrade" album:
"By making this album we wanted to show people another side of metal, that metal is so much more than only a "noisy kind of music" (like some people tend to believe). Our goal is to create gripping, adventurous songs. The listener has to decide for him-/herself whether or not we succeeded in doing so.. Yes, we can understand it’s difficult to type our music. How does "melodic power metal drenched in melancholy" sound ;)? All reviews so far have been very positive. Especially in Germany, England and the United States/Canada they seem to like us very much. With reviews in Rolling Stone and Kerrang as highlights."
If there ever will appear a new LS album, remains to be seen, but never say never.. Anyhow, Vince, Arjan and Xander never stopped making music together (or believing for that matter..) and nowadays appear as a three-some in the heavy rock band:
