About Me

I love:Reading, playing music, listening to music, walking around with no plan of where I'm going, drinking diet soda, sweating without working out, writing, glowing like a firefly, meowing like a cat, meowing at a cat, apple fritters.I am terrified of:Big and medium-sized dogs, growing old, sucking, television programming that is not burned on a DVD, female lead singers who don't play an instrument, food poisoning, spiders.

My Interests

Plaintive acoustic rock for the masses!www.NickBognar.com

I'd like to meet:

Christine Chubbuck

Music:

Harvey Danger, Pixies, Piper Downs, Guided By Voices, The Magnetic Fields, lots of loud guitar, unusualy melodies, and smart lyrics.

Movies:

I am more likely to enjoy a movie if it was made in the last 15 years, or if there are people explicitly fucking in it. Those movies are timeless.

Television:

I like to get DVDs of whole seasons so I can watch them all at once. I can't take one episode at a time.

Books:

Douglas Coupland, Mark Jude Poirier, David Sedaris.

Heroes:

The Principal in Election. Jesus Christ, that guy is brilliant.

What I would be ordering if Wienerschnitzel was open right now

I miss my cat

My neighbor has maybe 700 cats. They prowl around outside my window all night, and around May every year they start singing. "It's Springtiiiiiimmmmme!" I pretend not to like it, but the trut...
