About Me

J Bonilla and Ian Dalsemer joined forces in 2002 to form The Elements. As individuals, J & Ian had programmed and engineered for artists such as Dr. Dre, Destiny’s Child, Jessica Simpson, and Jermaine Dupri to name a few. The newly formed production team quickly caught the attention of industry heavy hitters, producing and remixing for artists such as Missy Elliot (Atlantic), Twista (Atlantic), and Loon (Bad Boy). The Los Angeles-based duo then hit hard in the advertising game, doing spots for Pepsi, Sprite, Reebok, Adidas, ESPN, Footlocker, NBA, NFL, Nintendo, Bud Light, Nissan, and Lexus among others.With a versatile sound, The Elements went on the make their mark in Hollywood, scoring for projects such as Next Day Air (Summit), Gotti's Way (VH1), Phenomenon (NBC), Being Bobby Brown (Bravo), Gameshow Marathon (CBS), Iraq Confidential with Jesse James (Discovery), Open Bar (MTV/Logo), The Namesake (Fox Searchlight), and Like Mike 2 (20th Century Fox).
