Hurricane Betty started in the 90's when her second personality came out during a tequila night at a friends wedding. The name stuck.
She started playing music with the guys from 24 hour church of beer in 2004 and sang in the White Trash Gospel Choir portraying her demonic yet angelic sounds. She started playing guitar and writing her own songs, with the influence of Rev Tim.
She attends the Hornby Island Blues Festival every May and has performed some of her inspirational songs there.
Hurricane Betty may be new at the game, but she's gung ho. Watch out for her in the Tequila bars, she packs a punch.
