Lessons are taught in Frodsham and New Street Music, Widnes, Cheshire.
John Wallace has over 15 years playing experience and is a very active drummer playing with Liverpool based bands performing original material. In recent years these bands have achieved radio plays nationally and locally, including live sessions for BBC Radio Merseyside and achieving Gideon Coe’s “Whammo of the Week” on BBC 6 Music. In summer 2008 one of John’s bands performed to over 8,000 as main support for Crowded House at Liverpool Arena as part of the Summer Pops 2008 Festival. John has also toured the UK and Europe several times.
Some of John's students have taken up the option to sit graded examinations with Trinity Guildhall and to date 100% of those students have passed. Students may also sit Rockschool grades if they wish to do so as of Summer 2009.
In 2009 John joined Drumsense and has started to incorporate this excellent programme in addition to his lessons.

More recently John performed live with electro-pop band Hallo... I Love You! when they performed as support group for Little Boots at Liverpool's Sound City 2009 event.
