I like to embrace the best of both worlds. I've been told I have a sarcastic sense of humor, but laughter is the best medicine and it doesn't matter how you create it. I've spent a lot of time being the pessimist regarding my life, and the optimist when it concerns other people. I enjoy being around people, in large groups, or involved in intimate conversation, because people are interesting. I don't like dumb people, I can bitch about dumb people for hours, which makes me reflect on my own intelligence if I can be so easily amused.
Music used to be my life. I could define any moment in my life with a song. I am currently trying to recapture my youth by finding odd little underground bands that I think are going to make it big.... I have a few of those in my pocket, but, no one cares that I saw Hoobustank (now hoobastank) at the back alley in fullerton YEARS ago, and have earthsick on an mp3 cd.... Only I think it makes me that much cooler, but anyhow, I had this friend and we were constantly on the quest for new music to compile into a soundtrack for the movie we were going to make that was basically a chronicle of your average life in the inland empire. It sounds boring, but, if the Blair Witch Project could make it, ours coulda been a hit.
Since having my daughter I find that I have less time to do the things I used to do to keep sane. But I'm rewarded in other ways. She is a wonderful child who brightens my day and keeps me on track.
What else can I say? I dislike politicians, plastic surgery, peanuts in the shell, and bad movies, but I can handle pretty much anything else.
