Hello all! We are in fact recording our first full length album. The songs you hear above are some of the pre-production tracks from the project. We're doing it on our own dime, so the process is difficult at best, but we hope to have the recording part finished by the end of Febuary with a release date in March. Naturally we'll keep you all posted, and we'll let you all know when the thing is available.
Also, we currently don't have any artwork for the album, so if you are an artist (or know an artist, or whatever) we'd love to see some ideas! If you are interested in putting your work on our cover, draw up some sketches and send them to us. I would like the finished product to be done in something rich like oils or acrylics, but I suppose I could be surprised by some other medium if it rocks.
Feel free to use whatever you want for content, but it will probably work better if it's based on the name of the band or one of the song titles. Also, it would be cool if we could establish some common thread from cover to cover, like Iron Maiden's Eddie, or Children of Bodom's reaper guy. Perhaps something to do with a blade?
The following is a list of songs that will potentially be on the album, along with a short description of what it's about. You know, just for inspiration.
Kiss of Death - it's about vampires.
The Howling - you guessed it, it's werewolves.
The Four Horsemen - all that end of the world stuff. With scary guys on horses.
Angel of Death - yeah.
300 - actually the same as the upcoming movie "300".
The Alchemist - about people who try to tell you how to be.
Extermination - aliens invade!
Lady in White - a ghostly stalker.
Prisoner of Hell - about living life wrong and the price to be paid.
The Pendant - containing the soul of a killer, and it possesses you.
Trial by Fire - Salem witch trial stuff.
Forsaken - about a demon.
Gates of Eternity - instrumental.
