The Fallen Down

About Me

The Fallen Down is an original music project out of Winnipeg CANADA, fronted by former Black Crossing vocalist, G R McDonald and featuring guitarist K.K. Muracz (Terry Spencer Trials, Black Crossing, KK Rawlings Band), drummer "Big" Dan Lavack (Terry Spencer Trials, B.U.M.P.), guitarist Roger "Fivestring" Simcic (Star Syndicate, Black Crossing) and bass wunderkind, Dany Joyal (numerous credits). Driven by the dynamic percussion work of Lavack; Muracz, Simcic and Joyal serve up a tasty blend of bluesy, guitar-driven rock with equal parts southern flair and prairie charm. The bands' blue-collar roots shine brightly through reflective and sometimes even suspiciously repentant lyrics and the searing lead work, driving rythyms and soulful vocals make The Fallen Down instantly accessible. From the gritty desperation of Cocaine Angel and anthem-like chorus of Thanks for the Freedom, to the warm sentiments of You Are or their namesake Fallen Down; this band redefines itself with every song. The addition of McDonald on vocals (taking over from Muracz in October of '07) rounds out a very complete musical package and takes their overall sound to a whole new level. Look for the new lineup on stage near you! For booking information, contact the band through myspace, via e-mail ([email protected]) or call KK at PUMP Entertainment (204) 230-PUMP

Six days and counting...

So far, this band has only performed for other musicians and the like - so to say we're fired up about playing in front of a REAL audience is a major understatement. Musicians (who seem to love what w...

Well, it's a byproduct of all being "family men" I guess. Two practises in a row put off because of family issues and a third coming Thursday due to work schedules. I am the first guy to say family be...
