What Makes Us Heroes are a four piece Rock/ Metal band, based in Nottingham. With an average band member age of just 18, the band has a bright and promising future ahead, and are eager to gig all around the UK as much as they can. With a variety of different influences, such as; Bullet For My Valentine, Metallica, Pantera, Trivium and KSE, their music is unique and entertaining, and they always ensure a great live performance.
WMUH started in February 2007 with just Jonathan Campion and Christopher Martey getting together and writing a few of the early WMUH songs, like, 'Trial And Error'. The addition of the drummer, Daniel Towle, came quite promptly in May 2007 and was the kick-start they needed to initially begin gigging around Nottingham. The four-piece as it is now, with Mark Dimartino as the bassist, has been together since January 2008 and have made significant progress since the addition of him. They have recently recorded their Debut EP, Endless War, at The Crash Factory, Nottingham, and it will be released in May, and also have future plans to record a Second EP this year!
The band will continue to write songs, gig heavily and attempt to get the name and the music of, 'What Makes Us Heroes' out into the world as much as they can, so as many people as possible can be subject to it. WMUH have a passion for music, and want to share this with everyone.
