LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT MY hubby is home!!!!!!!!!! YIPEE!!!!!!Enjoying life with my hubby and 5 year old son! We live in Washington state after moving from Guam over a year and half now. We miss the warm weather and all of our friends we made there. I keep busy working full time as an SLP in the local School district. My son Jaidon is the light of my life and keeps me on my toes! He is the most enthusiastic and genuinely curious soul that I have ever met. I can't believe how much he has grown and that he is ready to be in school already! I miss my family and friends in Virginia terribly!I had a great visit last summer and look forward to another one in August. My sister Mollie had a fun 30th bday party for me last summer and I was so happy to see so many people that I adore in life. It's funny how once we enter the real world time seems to grab a hold of us. I miss the days when life wasn't so complicated and cherish the time I have to be with my friends and family. My husband is in the Navy and stationed at Whidbey Island. Military life..sigh..enough said. We make the best of it but it's not easy for sure. Our first deployment is over and we have alot of time to make up and we are enjoying evey moment!I have so much to be thankful for. A beautiful son, amazing stepdaughter and loyal husband. We are rich in love and that's all that matters at the end of the day. I love my family and friends....it's been real catching up and checking out everyone's pics.

My Interests

..
Cool Slideshows..Singing, karaoke, although I haven't done it much since leaving FL and Guam, Wyland art, and photography..that pretty much sums it up. I am a Redskins and Orioles fan from since I can remember thanks to my Dad. My number one interests are my son and my hubby, but of course.I love photography and have had my own business with Creative Memories for almost 4 years. I am a Unit Leader and teach photo preservation and organization. I love to work on my own albums and my son loves to look at them. I love singing, dancing and Justin Timberlake. Have been since seeing NSYNC in Orlando back when I worked at Disney World!! It's so teenybopper but it's me :)

Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Eminem, Dave Matthews..for a second time, Oprah, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Steve Irwin the Croc Hunter.....Fallen Heroes...we will all meet up one day....god bless you!!!!!!!!!!!

Music:

Being a vocalist myself...I love all female vocalists who can sing..Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Leann Rhymes, Dixie Chicks, Christina Aguilera, Mariah, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood..just to name a few. I love all kinds of music from country to jam bands. I have loved Dave Matthews since my early days of high school. In college I worked for a music magazine and had some awesome music opportunities. Meeting Dave Matthews and Jewel topped the list. Can't wait to see Justin Timberlake in concert this september!!

Movies:

Too many to list!!!! Anything but Horror movies!

Television:

Hey it's sunny in WA now so I'm not watching ANY TV!! For now at least........American Idol.. I don't ever miss it, Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Dog the Bounty Hunter, I love it!

Books:

Currently it's Setting Limits for the Strong Willed Child (yes that is my child) And the GRE VERBAL Workbook, I'm taking the test again, maybe I'll be in one spot long enough to finish my masters!:)

Heroes:

My parents!! My DAD who heads to work every day regardless of the effect of MS and how difficult it is for him to get to and from. My husband who left to Iraq in January and will be gone until September! I love him!!!!!!! Remember if we don't go there..they will come here! Thank god for the millions of Americans fighting for our freedom so that we can live in peace! AMEN!

In Memory of Gramps

My Grandfather who passed away this week. He was a great man and I am so glad my son was able to know him in the few years he did. Although Gramps' death was unexpected, he had heart trouble for years...
