I am stubborn and selfish. What can I say? This is human nature. I am learning slowly, day after day, again and again, that I need to stop being so selfish and stubborn and stop worrying about my petty problems. But rather look at the big picture and bigger problem, keeping in mind that God makes no mistakes! When the trials and tribulations of life come at you, they come with full force. They show no sensitivity to your current emotional, physical, or financial state. They just hit you, and they hit hard, leaving no time for a fight or an act of defense. You can't see it coming. And if by some miracle you do get a glimpse of the damage to be done, there is little time for you to organize and prevent it all from happening. So why must we yield to the precautionary ways of life? If there is nothing you can do to stop it all from falling apart, why even attempt? Just go with it, let it break you down. That is when true character is seen. Those are the times when real people emerge. So break me down life, come at me with all you've got. I'll take it. I will stand up, beaten and broken. My true character will be seen, because life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can, Apoligize when you should. And let go of what you cant change. Love deeply and forgive quickly. Take chance. Give everything. And have no regrets. Love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who dont and believe that everything happens for a reason. Life is too short to be anything but happy. You have to take the good in with the bad. Smile when your sad. Love what you got. And always remember what you had. Always forgive but never forget. Learn from your mistakes. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
