The Past
We, the LAW (Losers Always Win) started throwing parties in Ghent the blessed year: 2005, where we had the opportunity to book some awesome acts from the Monsters of Mash Up tour, in a squat called "Alcahel" (RIP)
We where a bunch of friends who decided charities could use the money more than we did, so we gave away all the profits we've made...
The party was a huge succes, so we continued... The only difference there was in the next party (From DUB till CORE I & II) is that we looked for a legal party location, due the repressive character of the police and government towards illegal parties... We couldn't take the risk anymore...
In the meanwhile, a part of our crew was member of the youthcentre ('t Stadt) in Oudenaarde and due the changes we've got from the youthcentre, we could help at Re:Fest, which where 6 great editions till now!
Other parties should follow...
The Present
This year, we decided to grow and make the LAW a real non profit organisation...
We wrote to some friends who helped us out at previous editions and asked them if they wouldn't become a member of the org. The response was great and now we're with 12 people who are organising everything...
we decided to do more than only breakcoreparties, but we will organise all kinds of socio cultural stuff, to inform people, bringing them together, ...
